Carrot Halwa Cheesecake — A fusion dessert —

Gave my Gajar Halwa an Indian twist   from my leftover dessert — and it got transformed into a rich , creamer decadent no bake cake— 

It is a great way to use leftover gajar halwa — in this it is mixed with fresh cream and hung curd mixture and layered over milk bikis biscuit —

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 cup gajar/carrot halwa
  • 1 pack of fresh Amul cream
  • 200 gms of hung curd
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 pack of Milk bikis biscuit
  • 1 pack of gelatin
  • 2 tbsp of Amul butter
  • 2 tsp of vanilla essence


Grind biscuits in a food processor until smooth and mix in with melted butter —

Press it in glass bowl to make it a compact layer — keep it in fridge for 15 to 20 minutes to set–

Meanwhile mix fresh cream , sugar and  hung curd  in a separate bowl ,  whisk it slightly and then mix in the carrot halwa into it gently—

Mix in gelatin in with some warm water and then mix it in gently to the above carrot halwa  and cream mixture —

Take out the glass bowl and gently pour in the prepared mixture on top to make a layer –Refrigerate it for 2 to 3 hours or until set —-

Garnish it with some carrot halwa on top of it —-
