It’s a popular Indo chinese recipe — made with cauliflower florets —
It’s super delicious and easy — you simply can’t stop eating it —
It goes well with chinese fried rice or noodles —-
When you get bored of making the same cauliflower curry more or less everyday — do try this variety — will definitely make your dinner interesting —
Main Ingredients
- One medium-sized cauliflower
- 2 tsp of minced garlic
- 1 tsp of ginger juliennes
- 1 chopped onion
- 4 tsp of soya sauce
- 2 tsp of chilli sauce
- 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup
- 1/2 cup of cornflour
- 1/4 cup of maida
- 1 tsp of sugar
- 1/2 cup of spring onion (finely chopped)
- Salt according to taste
- Vegetable oil for cooking
Method:
Boil the cauliflower florets in salted water for 5 minutes . Wipe the florets dry with a tissue paper.
Coat the florets with cornflour .
Fry these in hot oil .
This process should be done twice .. i.e. after these florets gets cooled down a bit , coat them again with cornflour and fry them twice in hot o
il. Keep the florets aside —
Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil , add in the onion , garlic and ginger , fry them for 2 to 3 minutes .
Mix the sauces together with salt and sugar in a small bowl and then add this mixture onto the frying pan — stir for few minutes and then add in the cauliflower florets —
Sprinkle the spring onions — toss all the ingredients together in high flame for 2 to 3 minutes —
Transfer it to a plate or serving bowl — and garnish it with spring onion —-
