Coriander and Mint Chicken Curry

This is a very simple yet a tasty recipe . You cannot go wrong with this one 😊

I was getting bored of the same old repetitive chicken curry so thought of trying something new and stumbled upon this one on you tube – gave it a slight twist and here is my version of it —


  • 500 gm of chicken
  • 2 cups of coriander leaves
  • 1 cup of Pudina leaves
  • 2 green chillies
  • 4 to 5 garlic cloves
  • 5 to 6 tbsp of onion ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp of red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp of haldi powder
  • 1 tsp of whole garam Masala
  • 4 tsp of curd
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 tbsp of mustard oil


Green chutney–

First make the green chutney by grinding coriander, Pudina, green chillies, and garlic cloves together and then keep it aside.

Heat oil on a non-stick pan , add in the whole garam Masala, after it starts splutterring add in the garlic, onion and ginger paste fry for 10 minutes then add in the chicken pieces — fry in high flame then cover it with a lid and cook it on low flame for 10 minutes .

After 10 minutes add in the curd, turmeric powder , red chilli powder and salt and saute it for 5 to 6 minutes.

Lastly add in the green chutney paste — saute the mixture for further 15 minutes in low flame or until oil oozes out. Then add in some warm water — cover it with a lid and cook until chicken is done. 😊
